Staff Screening

Staff have daily temperature checks and answer wellness questions before beginning the day.

New Doors and Plexiglas Barriers

Doors have been added to each treatment room and Plexiglas barriers have been added to the reception area.

Enhanced Cleaning Procedures

Increased cleaning protocols are followed at our offices to make sure you and our team stays safe and healthy.

Additional Air Filtration

We have added additional air filtration throughout our office, which purifies the air 20x per hour.

Increased Safety Standards

We’ve enhanced our usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). All clinical staff wear additional levels of PPE. There is an $8 PPE fee.*

Going Contactless

Patients will complete a wellness questionnaire online or over the phone prior to their appointment.

Mouth Rinsing

You’ll be asked to pre-rinse with hydrogen peroxide which has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.

Symptom Screening

All patients will have their temperature checked when they arrive.

Staggered Scheduling

We’ve changed the way we schedule our appointments and discourage additional guests in the greeting room.

Deep Cleaning in Greeting Area

Objects such as magazines, books, toys and self serve coffee have been removed from reception areas and treatment rooms. All countertops are clear.

Deep Cleaning in Treatment Rooms

As always, all equipment is frequently sterilized; dental chairs and all other surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and wiped down between patients.

Dr. Ian Raskin

Dr. Ian Raskin firmly believes that the best way to take care of his patients is to continuously increase his knowledge and range of clinical skills. By adopting the latest in technologies and techniques he hopes to offer all areas of dentistry in the most comfortable manner possible.

Dr. Raskin graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 1984. Since then he has spent more than three decades in continuous post-graduate study in all areas of specialty in dentistry, including advanced Occlusion and Cosmetics, TMJ Therapy and Prosthetics, Endodontics and Periodontal Surgery. In 2000, Dr. Raskin was granted a Masters / Advanced standing in Laser Dentistry from the Academy of Laser Dentistry, one of fewer than ten recipients in Canada. He lectures extensively internationally to Dentists about Laser Dentistry.

Dr. Raskin is the co-author of a text book on Air Abrasive Micro Dentistry as well as several articles on Laser Dentistry. In the mid 1990’s he was a founding member of the Society for Advanced Dentistry, dedicated to teaching dentists about micro dentistry techniques.

Dr. Raskin is the father of two amazing sons.

Dr. Miriam Dick-Cohen

Dr. Miriam Dick-Cohen is passionate about dentistry and her patients. Between treating her patients and spending time with her growing family, Dr. Dick-Cohen actively updates her skills and knowledge of dentistry through continuing education courses that will directly impact her patients. She especially enjoys topics in patient care, aesthetic dentistry and orthodontics.

Dr. Dick-Cohen is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Halton-Peel Regional Dental Association, North Toronto Dental Society, and Alpha Omega Fraternity.
